I haven't used Codex since October 13, yet you suddenly changed my weekly reset date from October 20 to October 22, effectively taking away 2 days of usage. This is unacceptable. You can't change usage limits without notice. Fix this or compensate me with a banked reset. @OpenAI

Hi Tibo, I’m a paying ChatGPT Business user. The global Codex reset gave me no benefit (I already had 100% quota left) but moved my next weekly reset from Oct 17/18 to Oct 20. Could global resets preserve the original reset date? A bonus shouldn’t leave users worse off.

I had a subscription weekly reset and it was at 99%. Then your reset came in and pushed it to 100% Why not include it as a credit? Its hardly seems to count as a reset. Another reason to switch to @grok@grok are others complaining of the same tactics by chatgpt?

this reset gave me 1% of usage. and moved my normal reset date for 2 days. that actually hurt me, cause I love to save usage and waste a lot within couple of hours. so yeah, fuck this reset i'd say

@thsottiaux we shouldn't have to sacrifice breaks to optimize Codex quotas! My 4 AM reset pushed the next one from 9 AM to 11 AM because I resumed at 6 AM. We need fixed, predictable resets —not a system that penalizes taking a break!

I had a similar incident. After Tibo tweeted, and like after 2 hours I sat to do my work, and it was indeed burning less and getting more work done. But this morning I just burned through my weekly allowance so fast. Had to use a reset, and now the reset is pushed back 3 days.

I need to say OpenAI resets became totally useless. As they move the standard reset date. I’ve used my reset from Anthropic on 200 plan today, and the planned reset date is the same. So I plan several big tasks in the next 2 days - this is the real limit bonus
