Hi, Tibo! It’d be great if we could set a fixed time for ChatGPT Plus’s 5-hour usage window to reset automatically, without having to open a chat to start the timer. Would make it so much easier to plan around usage limits!

- Problem
Resets still won’t auto-apply without specifically being requested. This person is asking for a feature that automatically applies them right before expiration, so they don’t lose it if they forget to apply the reset before the deadline.

@s3sebastian @thsottiaux Expiring resets turn a quota into a coupon with a deadline, and coupons get lost in drawers. Simple fix: show 'expires 9:14pm' in local time and let me pick 'apply when my bar hits 0' up front, so draining first can't cost the reset. #TokenUsage

@thsottiaux Btw. could usage limit resets that are expiring automatically be applied upon expiring? Or show the exact time of day when they are expiring when hovering over it. Thanks. I've lost two resets because I wanted to drain my remaining % first, but then forgot to use them in time.

1. banked reset set to expire oct 5th. 2. asked chatgpt what time, it said 6am. 3. it expired at 12:02 AM 4. Also used 500 paid credits between 12:02AM and 12:15AM while i still had 43%. 4. Support said nothing we can do.

Tibo, I had a banked reset saved for today. The reset didn't say what time it was ending, and already at 1pm EST (just 10am PST) it was already gone from my account before I had a chance to use it. This is an awful, anti-consumer system.

I had a banked reset set to expire on 10/05, but no specific time was provided. I assumed it would remain available until the end of the day, but now it's already gone. Really disappointing! Please add an exact expiration time so we know precisely when a banked reset will expire.

Hey Tibo, can you make reset tokens auto-use just before they expire? It's been several times where I don't trigger it on the last day and I miss out on it, I think users would love you more if you auto applied after hitting zero (usage %) or if it's about to expire

I had a reset that expired on October 4th but it's 11:46 PM on October 4th still, we need a time of exactly when the banked resets expire because it was still available at 9:30 pm earlier tonight and I was just about to use it and now it's gone...and it's still October 4th
