Improvement

Day 5: Composer predictions in the Codex desktop app for Pro users, without consuming usage

Tibo announces composer predictions in the Codex desktop app as Day 5. He says they are included in Pro plans without consuming usage and describes the predictions as often on point.

Read the whole note

The quoted OpenAI Developers announcement says the feature is in beta for Pro users: Codex suggests your next message from the conversation and how you talk to it. This is a message-composition feature, not a usage reset or a benchmark of model speed or prediction accuracy.

Check the composer in the Codex desktop app on a Pro plan. Rantr has not independently verified availability, prediction quality or the claim that predictions do not consume usage.

Improvement

Day 5.2: Create and text a dot entirely in the ChatGPT mobile app

Tibo labels this announcement "Day 5 (dots edition)" and says users can now create and text their dot entirely from the ChatGPT mobile app. He contrasts this with creating dots through the desktop or web app previously.

Read the whole note

The quoted ChatGPT announcement says dot creation is available straight from the ChatGPT app on iOS and Android. This adds a mobile creation and messaging workflow alongside the separate Day 5 composer-predictions announcement; it is not a usage reset or a benchmark, and does not establish that existing dot connection problems are fixed.

Check dot creation and messaging in the ChatGPT mobile app. Rantr has not independently verified availability across accounts or platforms, or connection reliability.

Method

How this record is made

Each day runs from 00:00 to 24:00 UTC. The record counts votes, release check answers, experiences, “Same here” and replies timestamped inside the day. When the day closes the record is frozen; it is recomputed only after an entry in the public corrections log, or when the day’s update is recorded late. Rantr is a neutral record: it does not take a side.
